This issue contains stories on a visit by the International Student Organization (ISO) to the state capitol building and Olympia Brewery; opposition to the state's Higher Education Coordinating Board Master Plan due to its emphasis on standardized testing; the upcoming lecture by glass artist Dale Chihuly; the Tax Reform Act of 1986 and possible changes to scholarships; the state senate approval of the Higher Education Coordinating Board's Master Plan; an upcoming diabetes forum at Ballard Community Hospital in Seattle; test taking strategies; construction on campus, with photo collage; student Marlys Ducharme attending the Winter Olympics in Calgary; TCC arts student Frank White; the fencing club; the women's basketball team loss to Centralia.
