This issue contains stories on new classes approved by Instructional Council; Assistant to the Director of Community Services Jerry Vaughan recommending establishment of a South End extension center to the Board of Trustees; a new Weekend College program; a presentation by state community college system director Dr. A. A. Canfield on rising enrollments and decreased funding at the community colleges; winter quarter non-credit evening classes; the broad range of students at TCC. Photos include student assistant Linda Renner and Tacoma Mayor Gordon Johnston in the TCC Listening Laboratory; Typing Laboratory employee Betty Bolinsky assisting a student; men's basketball team member Ron Oughton shooting during a game against Green River; a non-credit watercolor class; TCC President Dr. Thornton M.
