Turner,' referring to Student Activities Director Mark Turner, who is quoted in the article. The article describes the ongoing standoff between the Associated Students of TCC (ASTCC) and UPS (ASUPS) regarding divestment from apartheid South Africa. The article describes ASTCC passing resolutions dissolving their relationship with ASUPS until the latter condemned UPS's investments in South Africa, recent ASUPS educational programming on South Africa, the UPS Trustees choosing to follow Stanford University's investment policy, an ASUPS resolution asking UPS to make 'ethical considerations' part of investments, and references comments by ASUPS that may have inflamed ASTCC voters.

S.K.I.N. Forms Bureau of Caucasian AffairsSatirical news release titled 'S.K.I.N. Forms Bureau of Caucasian Affairs,' April 27, 1977. The release reverses the treatment indigenous people have received by white colonizers by ordering white people onto reservations, sending their children to boarding schools, prohibiting their cultural and religious practices, providing them with poor health care, and providing token 'honors' for white people and their culture. This release was created shortly after SKIN was formed and was also published in the May 6, 1977 issue of the student newspaper, The Collegiate Challenge.
