- Description
-
Satirical news release titled 'S.K.I.N. Forms Bureau of Caucasian Affairs,' April 27, 1977.
The release reverses the treatment indigenous people have received by white colonizers by ordering white people onto reservations, sending their children to boarding schools, prohibiting their cultural and religious practices, providing them with poor health care, and providing token 'honors' for white people and their culture.
This release was created shortly after SKIN was formed and was also published in the May 6, 1977 issue of the student newspaper, The Collegiate Challenge. - Subject
