This issue contains stories on civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Ralph David Abernathy speaking on campus; Governor John Spellman being chosen to speak at commencement; TCC tutor and Performance Circle actor, light designer, and director James Allyn; a visit to the University of Washington; a day in the life at the local Denny's; golf team member Randy Fossum winning the Athletic Association of Community College (AACC) second medal and being named to the all-state team; the golf team failing to qualify for the state competition; the men's baseball team finishing the season with AACC tournament spot; the track and field team winning third in the AACC state meet; a volleyball summer camp; the TCC Child Care Center; the Outstanding Student Awards; vampires; only one student attending the Board Day on Campus; the Associated Students advisory board selecting student government officers, including James Martin as president; the cafeteria hosting a Super Special barbecue; the Honors Program Retreat; the end of year Celebration Cruise being opened to students.
