Student newspaper of the Tacoma Community College. This issue is numbered volume 18, number 17 and is eight pages. This is the first issue with the title simplified to "The Challenge."
This issue contains stories on the child care center dedication ceremony; music instructor Dave Whisner; a traveling Museum of Modern Art exhibition showing at the Seattle Art Museum; a KCTS mini documentary series on nuclear war, "Seattle After World War III"; an upcoming concert by singer Linda Waterfall; the upcoming RWP Production season at the Freighthouse Theater; the Tacoma Narrows Bridge run; the beginning of track and field season; the "Womenomics 82" Third Annual Professional Women's Symposium; the TCC "Health Yourself" Health Fair, with numerous photos; the bookstore and issues with book ordering; history instructor Harland Malyon teaching student Haeng Cha Chong how to ride a bike.
