This issue contains stories on the Challenge winning second place for community colleges in a journalism competition from Sigma Delta Chi; a presentation on unrest in Northern Ireland by Helen Myers, which included interruptions by dissenters; the upcoming Miss Tacoma Pageant; the National Lampoon magazine and its 25th anniversary; former TCC student Rosalyn Newlen and Cliff Newlen creating arts newspaper The Northwest Montage; major league baseball; track team performance at a meet; the golf team winning against Green River and Edmonds; student Charley Kuhn; Norwegian instructor and musician Gunnar Malmin; the Communications Club applying for an FCC license for proposed radio station KTCC.
