This issue contains stories on the difficulty of part-time faculty earning a living; a theft from the games lounge; development of a student recruiting and retention program; the effects of declining enrollment; flier posting policy; the departure of secretary to the president Wanda Coates; a proposal to use some of the student activities fees for emergency student loans; plans for a campus arboretum; an enamel work exhibit by art instructor Paul Michaels at the White Whale Gallery; the women's volleyball team winning against Pacific Lutheran University (PLU); men's basketball team training; a Tacoma business panel speaking on writing and job success; a faculty art exhibition in the library; the pharmacy, museum, and post office at Dean Drugs of Tacoma.
