This issue contains stories on the stalled progress of the student government Constitutional Task Force Committee; changes to the Health Center's hours; TCC President Larry Stevens; an upcoming lecture by National Organization for Women (NOW) founder Betty Friedan; graduation and commencement; TCC occupational programs; parking regulations and enforcement; a new newspaper course on death and taxes; the new Tacoma West Cinemas; McNeil student Joel Johnson receiving Best in Show for an art exhibit; literary magazine Trillium and deadlines; student activities satellite office; a performance by the TCC Clef Dwellers and jazz ensemble at McNeil Island; the Miss Pierce County contest; the golf team; spring sports, including men's golf, women's slowpitch softball, men's baseball, women's tennis, men's tennis; a TCC, National Alliance of Businessmen, Tacoma Public Schools, and Private Sector Initiatives sponsored Career Guidance Institute; a joint TCC and Fort Steilacoom summer study abroad program in Taiwan and Hong Kong; a special course on the Holocaust (History 299); the TCC downtown extension plans.

Robert Waaland at the Seattle Aquarium; a performance by the singing-actor workshop; an upcoming visit by a PLU representative; a Western Washington University open house; a Hawaiian political science course in Honolulu; a Sound Concepts International Modeling Competition; an airplane exhibition by Air Puyallup at the Tacoma Mall.
