Special student newspaper of the Tacoma Community College. This special issue is entitled The Collegiate Challenge's April Foole, numbered volume 1, number 1 and is four pages.
This issue contains humorous and sensational (and false) stories on mutant termites on campus; a federal call for cancerous rats; the spontaneous combustion of a student in a logic class; a visit to campus by 11th US President James Polk; perpetual motion; sporting events in underwater banana eating, cherry pit spitting; the Challenge winning a newspaper layout contest (with numerous intentional errors); the new TCC Covert Espionage training program.
Also includes humorous (and false) classified ads; editorial; letters to the editor; bowling standings; an ad for organic fertilizer-scented cologne and aftershave; entertainment reviews of the Wandering Wonders Ballet Troupe performance of Goose River, film Encounters of the Close Kind, and book Roses in the White House - How to Spray for Bugs.
