Also includes editorial on the strike's impact on students; letters to the editor from incarcerated individuals, students requesting small class sizes and supporting the faculty; ads and classified ads; sports editorial on Titan men's basketball head coach Don Moseid; "Challenging Choices" sports prediction game and previous winners; geology photo contest.

Announcements include a Seattle Parks and Recreation lecture series; a workshop on environmental and population education from Zero Population Growth Seattle Chapter and the University of Washington Institute for Environmental Studies; call for book donations for the Friends of the TCC and Tacoma Public libraries; summer jobs from Jobs Europe; a concert by Mikis Theodorakis at the Seattle Opera House; drug education classes; bracelets in support of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) being sold by the League of Women Voters; a series of film screenings.
