This issue contains stories on a survey in which Tacoma Community College ranked as the best community college in Washington; the Washington Association of Community College Student Governments' convention, including the raising of dues to support lobbying; an appearance by Representative Floyd V. Hicks; the reelection of Robert L. DeLong as president of the TCC Foundation; the first TCC Coffeehouse event; the beginning of Titan soccer; new basketball team member Charles Nicholson; the first cross country meet of the season; upcoming intramurals; the Fort Lewis Six, the largest group at the fort to refuse orders to Vietnam; the death of TCC chief cook Mabel Kiniry; Associated Women Students; student Gail Cruver losing a contact lens; Judo Club and the need for more women members; construction of the library's typing lab and mezzanine additions; a presentation by Republican Congressional candidate John Jarstad; a candy machine; TCC president Dr. Thornton M.
