This issue contains stories on University of Washington graduate student Judi Cleghorn speaking on women's liberation; Voice of Watts editor Charles E. Smith speaking on communism in the civil rights movement; comedian and civil rights leader Dick Gregory speaking on current issues and activism; the Miss TCC competition; availability of draft counseling; Titans men's basketball news, including their qualification for the state tournament; the golf team; the track team; the tennis team; an upcoming Sports Car Club autocross; the American Servicemen's Union Fort Lewis local charging Fort Lewis officials with illegally taking Private Bruce MacLean by force (with the intent to send him to Vietnam); the opening of a Tacoma office for The Resistance organization; the Political Science Forum seeking new members, their past and upcoming events; Spokane attorney Carl Maxey announcing his run against Washington state Senator Henry Jackson; tryouts for the play Becket, or the Honor of God; the donation of a large book collection to the Resource Center and Library via the Friends of the Library; night classes at TCC; kite flying on campus.
