This issue contains stories on the TCC Foundation's letter campaign for a student loan fund; a small fire outside Building 16; student body primary election results; upcoming dance with music by Shiloh, and concert by Shirley Loreane and the Track, the Guess Who (at the University of Puget Sound Fieldhouse); conflict between the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Activities Council regarding distribution of leaflets for the Vietnam Moratorium; the Friends of the TCC Library; planned events in Tacoma for the Vietnam Moratorium; forming new student clubs; a new tutoring program from the Obi Society; a state bill creating Community College Week in November; the Sports Car Club rally; Pep Staff screening of cheerleading finalists; the upcoming Drama production of Dracula; Tom Ries being chosen as Challenge editor and Dorthy Dusek as Cronus editor; the process of police academy recruitment and training; a new ordinance regarding outdoor public music festivals, passed in response to the Sky River festival; the Tacoma Airport; the film I Am Curious (Yellow) and obscenity laws; charges against local Ron Meiniger for possession and sale of "obscene" materials.

Also includes editorial on student political apathy and the Vietnam Moratorium; a series of photos of women's legs in short skirts with the title "What's Nude on Campus"; a group photo of the cross country team; a brief paragraph on campus and dorm drinking rules at other colleges; announcement of Karate Club meetings, discouragement of Vietnam Moratorium participation at Boise State College; "With My Boots On" column discussing various news, including campus parking; Art and Literary Supplement with poetry, photos.
