This issue contains stories on plans for a boycott of classes, vigils at local universities as part of the nationwide Vietnam Moratorium on October 15; the TCC Foundation and its work to raise awareness of students' financial needs, a new campaign to create a student loan fund; new Veterans Administration medical and G.I. Bill education benefits; Washington Association of Community College Student Government news, including the election of TCC senator John Stella as block-booker; Activities Council news, including discussion of the Vietnam Moratorium; freshman runner Al Swenson winning a cross country race; community and state colleges news including observation of the Vietnam Moratorium; a concert by the Surprise Package; history department chairman Tom L. McLaughlin earning a PhD in American studies from Washington State University.
