This issue contains stories on the appointment of Dr. Dewey Tuggle Jr. to the Board of Trustees; the appointment of Rueben Brunson Jr. as development coordinator to work with Black-owned Tacoma businesses; student fights over the color of the campus rock; an upcoming concert by Washington State University music professor George Scott to dedicate the new organ donated by Mrs. Jane McKee; prostitution in Seattle; student body election results, including John D. DeVore as president; the formation of the Activity Scholarship Committee; letter to the editor from Governor Daniel J.
