Student newspaper of the Tacoma Community College.  This issue is the first under the title The Collegiate Challenge, is numbered volume I, number 5, and is four pages.

This issue contains stories on student government, including progress on the constitution, elections; the TCC Reading Clinic; the next dance; Easter; official status of the Young Republicans; new associate degrees; campus events such as concerts and lectures; the Golden Age Writing Class; performance of the play The Tender Trap; Dr. Ronald Magden; a talk by Dr. James Brown on the future of education; Red Cross volunteer positions.

Also includes diagrams illustrating the TCC constitution, a guest editorial by Senators Warren Magnuson and Henry Jackson on a proposal by Congress to end NDEA student loan program, comics, letters to the editor, poems.
