This special collection brings together the various published material in the Tacoma Community College Archives. Most but not all of these books and periodicals are also cataloged in the TCC Library Catalog. The majority of these publications are published by TCC departments and/or student organizations. Several are external publications that contain works by TCC employees and/or students, and a few others are historic publications on the Tacoma region.

This issue contains stories on the donation of a flag flown at the national capitol to TCC, progress toward hiring more faculty and building construction, visits from Washington college representatives, TCC cadets winning a tripping to Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, a dance performance, Christmas (including poems and fiction), winter driving, registration, trends in student loans for college.

This issue contains stories on the election of the first freshman and sophomore class presidents, a Christmas writing contest, formation of a jazz stage band by music instructor Robert Dezell, guidance counseling in junior colleges, textbooks, planning for a TCC constitutional convention, AFROTC Detachment 900, foreign language instruction, campus building progress, and a visit by Ugandan educators to the campus.
